Wesley Neil Williams

-

Wesley Neil Williams, 79. Husband of the late Sarah E. (Hubbard) Williams, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his home in Chester County.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, raised in Wyoming, PA, he was the son of the late Maxwell Addison Williams and Parma (Pollock) Williams.

Wes genuinely enjoyed meeting people, spending time and sharing stories. So after a long career with Bell Telephone, he took a job with Sunny’s restaurant on Rt. 23 to be in touch with the community. From there he went on to volunteer for the recycling center, Hopewell State Park, the lumber mill at the

Hay Creek historic site and most recently has spent many of his days with his friends at the Joanna Furnace and Mouns Jones archaeological sites. He loved the outdoors, exploring new places, sailing and always looked forward to yearly trips to Cape May. Closer to home he found joy in golfing with his brother and the guys, chatting with his neighbors, and sharing his life with his wife, kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

In his younger days his passion for cars turned into a job as a mechanic where he met his wife of 58 years, Sarah (Sally) who would become his everything. After a lifetime together and a broken heart with her passing they were once again reunited on their 59th anniversary. We know they are at peace. He will be forever loved and missed.

Surviving are his children; Audrey H. Buckley, and Kenneth B. Williams; siblings; Parma Otterpohl, (sister and wife of Charlie), Brother Brad

Williams, Laurie O’Neal (sister and wife of Vern) Grandchildren Christa Buckley, Ryan Buckley, Laurie Buckley, Marley Williams, Max Williams, and Megan

Montoya; Great grandchildren; Kaden Falini, Devyn Falini, Brooke Falini, Alaina Falini, Callie Buckley,

Theo Lewis and Sutton Jurczyk. He is predeceased by his sister Bonnie DiRenzo and brother Kirk.

A Celebration of life will be held on April 30th 2022 at First Presbyterian Church (750 N Evans St,

Pottstown, PA 19464) with Rev. Kerry and Carter Lester officiating. Visitation will be 10am to 10:45, followed by the service at 11. His ashes will be spread privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Society for Pennsylvania Archeology (SPA Chapter 21) in Wesley’s name.

Contributions can be mailed to; Gene Delaplane 659 Rice Blvd. Apt. 208 Exton Pa. 19341.
