Humane Pennsylvania hosts free movie night at Birdsboro dog park
1980s cult classic 'Labyrinth' will be projected on a large outdoor screen
Humane Pennsylvania is hosting a free movie night on Friday, June 17, at 8 p.m., at Humane Pennsylvania’s Danielle RuizMurphy Dog Park in Birdsboro.
The film, projected on a large outdoor screen, will be the 1980s cult classic “Labyrinth,” starring David Bowie and Academy Award-winner Jennifer Connelly. Admission and parking are free, well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome, and the event will feature a food truck and Spike’s Tiny Taphouse, serving beer and wine for adults.

CEO Karel Minor expressed his excitement about the event.
“Our movie nights are a great way to bring family and friends together for a fun night out under the stars with their pets,” he said. “It also helps bring awareness of our mission to build the best community anywhere to be an animal and an animal caretaker, as well as of our dog park, which is free to use by our community.”
Although admission is free, a donation to Humane Pennsylvania is strongly encouraged. Attendees can also bring a bag of dry dog or dry cat food for Spike’s Pet Pantry, Humane Pennsylvania’s community pet food program.
“If people bring a bag of pet food with them to the movie, they will help Humane PA aid the hungry pets of families in need throughout our community,” said Minor.
Humane Pennsylvania encourages those interested in learning or planning to join them to visit Humanepa.org/events for details and to confirm attendance for planning purposes. The free movie night has a rain date of June 24.
