ASSISTANT PLANT SUPERINTEDENT Ambler Borough is seeking to hire an Assistant Plant Superintendent for its Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Plant utilizes Preliminary treatment consisting of fine screens and grit removal, Primary treatment, Secondary treatment and Tertiary treatment utilizing nitrification tower filters and Dissolved Air Flotation for final clarification with final disinfection using Ultra Violet light. The plant serves six municipalities and has a design capacity of 6.5 MGD. Successful candidate should possess a valid drivers license and a PA DEP, Class A, Type 2&4 certification or higher or be able to obtain the required certification within 12 months from date of hire. Candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills, experience in maintaining, planning and scheduling work activities for a staff of six operators. Candidate should be familiar with sampling protocol as it relates to a Municipal Industrial Pretreatment Program.
