ND-Fairfield hockey knocks off No. 1 Prep

Conor McCutcheon had two goals and an assist to lead the Notre Dame-Fairfield boys hockey team to a 4-1 win over No. 1 Fairfield Prep Saturday at the Wonderland of Ice in Bridgeport.

Nick Carloto had a goal and assist and Mike Antoniou had two assists for the Lancers (7-7).

Justin Blanchette scored for the Jesuits (7-7).

Nick DiSabella scored the winning goal at 10:24 of the third period to lead the Cadets to their FCIAC win at the Milford Ice Pavilion. DiSabella had two goals and two assists and Will Foldesi added a goal and three assists for the Cadets (7-5-1).

Samuel New had two goals and three assists for Staples/Weston/Shelton (77).

Boys basketball

scored 17 points for the visiting Rams in this Shoreline win.

Connel Henderson and Scott Cabral each added 14 points for Old Saybrook (10 - 5).

Nick Durso scored 20 points for the visiting Easties in this SCC interdivision win in Milford.

Conor Reynolds added 17 points for East Haven. Zach Tavitian had 17 points for the Lions.

Girls basketball

Cori Ouellette scored 17 points for the visiting Tigers in this SCC interdivision win in Milford.

Gege Catalano had 12 points and Paula Materin added 10 points for Hand.
