Locals graduate, earn honors
BOSTON >> Boston University awarded academic degrees to 6,220 students in May, including East Hampton residents Emily L. Claffey, bachelor of arts in political science, cum laude, and a master of arts in political science; Claire A. Kornegay, master of science in insurance management; Rosemary L. Biegaj, master of arts in psychology.
Also, Melissa J. Rodriguez-Vodak of the Ivoryton section of Essex received a master of public health degree in environmental health; Joseph E. Turner of Durham received a master of business administration and management, high honors, and a master of science degree in information systems, high honors; Quang C. Le of Middletown, bachelor of science in business administration and management, cum laude; and Rachael Barber of Middletown, master of science in speech-language pathology.
