Law needed to protect voiceless victims of domestic violence
My name is William M. Prevatte. I am 20 years old and a resident of Middletown. I’m writing this as a community activist who is against the abuse of children and women. Sevenmonth-old Aaden Moreno’s life was taken during a senseless act of violence last July.
We, as a nation, don’t deserve to see children and women getting abused and murdered. I would like to have a bill passed called “Aaden’s Law,” which would help to protect abuse victims who cannot speak for themselves. We need to come together and make a change because we need to draw the line against these crimes in the United States.
I’m very confident that Aaden’s Law will help keep children/women safe because these lives do matter. — William M. Prevatte, Middletown
