Thank you for back-toschool gifts
The Town of Cromwell Youth Services Department, in conjunction with Cromwell Human Services, would like to thank the community for its generous contribution to our 2016 backto-school program.
Each year, with the assistance of the Salvation Army, local civic organizations, St. John Church, First Congregational Church, Cromwell merchants, local businesses, West Side Market, Stop & Shop, Wal-Mart, Staples and numerous caring individuals, we are able to provide backpacks, Payless shoe vouchers and gift cards to many low-income families. Distribution day was Aug. 18 for preschool through high school-age children in our Cromwell community. Fifty-one families and 104 children sincerely appreciate this generosity.
Thank you again for your thoughtfulness. — Marcia Pendleton Sacco, Cromwell Youth Services youth service coordinator
