• Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties Inc., announced the completion of the following transactions. In the first, Bill Weirsman of Colonial Properties Inc, represented the seller in the sale of 2033 Fairfield Ave. in Bridgeport for $285,000. The 1,125-square-foot building on 0.29 acres was formerly used for automotive repair. The buyer, Bill Malone, was represented by Joel Hausman of Colonial Realty in Fairfield. In the second transaction, Weirsman also represented seller Peter Bonaventure in the sale of 354 Woodmont Road, Unit 13, in Milford for $117,000. The 2,000-squarefoot commercial condominium will soon be the offices of Duct Diagnostics LLC. The Buyer was represented by Wayne Chmura of Keller Williams Realty Partners. In a third transaction, Richetelli represented landlord Fornier Trust in negotiating a three-year lease for 1,300 square feet of retail space to Artisan Tile At Whitfield Design LLC at Mulberry Plaza, 1200 Boston Post Road in Guilford. The Tenant was represented by Mark Lynskey of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.
• Tidal Basin, an investment company, has bought the 9,720-square-foot building at 4-6 Indian Neck Road in Branford, in a deal brokered by Levey Miller Maretz. Steve Miller, principal of Levey Miller Maretz, represented the seller in the deal, Dale Realty LLC. Chris Nolan of H. Pearce Real Estate represented Tidal Basin. The industrial building sits on nearly 1.5 acres.
• The Geenty Group, Realtors, has reported the lease of 2,000 square feet in a multi-tenanted “flex” building on the North Branford/Branford line at 5 Enterprise Drive in North Branford. This space is comprised of warehouse and office space with a truck dock. Tenant is The Rug Doctor. Kevin Geenty SIOR was the agent for the tenant. Landlord is K. Russo Construction Inc. Their agent was Bill Clark, also of The Geenty Group.
• HealthMed Dental Care LLC has leased space at 1209 S. Broad St. in Wallingford in a deal brokered by Levey Miller Maretz. The business now occupies space within a retail plaza, and is located in a site that formerly housed an AT&T store. Other plaza tenants include Harstans Jewelers, Farmers Insurance and Empire Liquor. Levey Miller Maretz represented the tenant and the landlord in the deal that brought HealthMed to the location. The plaza has 2,000 square feet of retail space remaining.
• The industrial building at 111 Holmes Road in Newington has a new owner. Buyer’s agent was Mark Berkowitz of Sentry Commercial, Hartford; buyer was Edward M. Mascolo of EMAS Realty LLC, West Hartford; seller was John W. Meier of Blu Sky Investors LLC, Essex; and seller’s agent was Ron Lyman, CCIM, CEO of Lyman Real Estate Brokerage & Development, Westbrook. The property, which sold for $885,000, has more than 20,000 square feet of warehouse and office space on a 2.2-acre site accessible to Route 9 at Exits 29 and 30.
• The Geenty Group, Realtors, has reported a lease of 800 square feet at 181 Research Drive, Milford. Tenant is MELT Chocolatier LLC. Meredith E. Lindsay is the principal. They will use the space for the manufacture of chocolates and confections for wholesale. Landlord is D’Amato Investments LLC. Bill Clark, senior vice-president at The Geenty Group, was sole agent in this transaction.
