TIME FOR TWOS: Time for Twos Playgroup Winter Sessions will be held Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28, 10:30 a.m. in the Activity Room, Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, Middletown. 2-year-olds and their caregivers invited for open play. Wear play clothes as we will also be using craft materials. Drop-in, no registration.

NO MEETING: The Executive Board of Middlesex Chapter #3394 AARP would like the members to be aware that there will be no chapter meeting in February. The next meeting will be held on March 8 at the Middletown Senior Center.

RUSSELL READERS: Russell Readers will meet Feb. 14, 6:30 p.m. in Meeting Room 3 at Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, Middletown. We will discuss The Cracked LookingGlass by Katherine Anne Porter from the collection 100 Years of the Best American Short Stories. FILM SCREENING: Film screening: The Detective, starring Alec Guinness as Father Brown, with Peter Finch and Joan Greenwood, will be presented Feb. 14, 12-2 p.m. in the Hubbard Room, Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, Middletown. BOOK CLUB: Book Club at the East Hampton Senior Center meets Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. Each month a new book is selected and discussed the following month. New members are always welcome. PLUS CLUB: The Durham 60+ Club has cancelled their regularly scheduled second Monday of the month meeting and will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 14 for the annual potluck Valentine’s Day luncheon at 12:30 p.m. at the Durham Activity Center. All members are asked to bring a dish to share; entertainment will be provided by the Middlefield Ukelele group.

FAMILY STORYTIMES: Family Storytimes will be held at the Portland Library on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., Feb. 15, 22. Families with children ages 0-5 and their siblings are invited. LET’S DO LUNCH: Let’s do lunch and more, locally, with the East Hampton Senior Center on-Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Jump on the Senior Van for free and head over to Chatham Historical Museum. The group will have a private tour of our Town’s History. Then off to “Waves”, on of our newly opened establishes in town for Lunch. $3 donation asked for the Museum. Sign up required.
