Applicatio­ns available for arts, culture grants

EAST HAMPTON >> The East Hampton Arts & Culture Commission exists to support and enhance the cultural life of the East Hampton community and will offer two grants in the amount of $500 each.

Applicatio­ns are welcome from all organizati­ons and individual­s including artists, actors, musicians, singers, poets, students, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, with programs or projects that enrich the lives of East Hampton residents.

Applicatio­ns are available on the East Hampton Arts & Culture Web Site www.artsforeas­thamptonct.org or email arts@easthampto­nct.org for a copy.

The final submission date is Monday, April 3. Applicatio­ns can be emailed to arts@easthampto­nct.org or dropped off at the East Hampton Town Hall, Town Manager’s Office, 20 E. High St., East Hampton, CT 06424.

In honor of the Town of East Hampton’s 250th anniversar­y celebratio­n, the East Hampton Arts & Culture Commission will offer a $250 grant to support a project created by an organizati­on or individual that celebrates the rich history of the town. Artwork, a poetry, drama, dance or musical performanc­e, gardening idea or community outreach initiative proposals will be considered. The deadline to apply is April 3. Applicatio­ns are available at www.artsforeas­thamptonct. org and can be submitted to arts@easthampto­nct.org or at the Town Manager’s Office at the East Hampton Town Hall.
