Softball

Sal Morello is known mostly as a football coach. This spring he makes his debut as softball coach.

Morello inherits a solid program, one that was 16-7 last year and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the Class LL tournament where it lost to Cheshire.

“We have seven starters back, so we should be a contender,” said Morello. “We also have a real solid core of freshmen — eight of them.”
