AUDUBON PROGRAM: Potapaug Audubon presents “Discover Oswegatchie Hills” on Thursday, April 6, 7 p.m. at the Old Lyme Town Hall, 52 Lyme St. with guest speakers Greg Decker & Suzanne Thompson, Friends of Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve. COWBOY VALLEY: As part of Killingworth’s 350th Anniversary celebration, a special program will showcase the history of Cowboy Valley at Haddam-Killingworth Middle school, on April 7, 7 p.m. at the H-K Middle School located on Rt. 81 in Killingworth. There is no admission for the event and all are welcome. The program will be moderated by Dan Perkins who worked at Cowboy Valley, and will have a panel of former employees of Cowboy Valley some of whom still reside in Killingworth. The event will feature original movie footage, photographs and displays of memorabilia from both the Historical Society and private collections. Come and learn how Killingworth was once transformed into a Wild West town.

DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE:
Epoch Arts, 27 Skinner St., East Hampton will hold its annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, April 8, 5-7:30 p.m. The theme this year is the Enchanted Fairy Garden. Each girl will create a fairy craft to take home with them as well as have their picture taken with their favorite guy. Admission is $20 per family; reservations are recommended.
