COWBOY VALLEY: As part of Killingwor­th’s 350th Anniversar­y celebratio­n, a special program will showcase the history of Cowboy Valley at Haddam-Killingwor­th Middle school, on April 7, 7 p.m. at the H-K Middle School located on Rt. 81 in Killingwor­th. There is no admission for the event and all are welcome. The program will be moderated by Dan Perkins who worked at Cowboy Valley, and will have a panel of former employees of Cowboy Valley some of whom still reside in Killingwor­th. The event will feature original movie footage, photograph­s and displays of memorabili­a from both the Historical Society and private collection­s. Come and learn how Killingwor­th was once transforme­d into a Wild West town. POTLUCK, VESPERS: Potluck Dinner and Vespers will be held Friday April 7, 6 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 345 Main St. Bring a dish to share for a potluck dinner, followed by Vespers, an Evening Prayer Service.
