FREE THROW CHAMPIONS

The Desoto Knights of Columbus Council #6, Cromwell, hosted its Free Throw Contest in January. Above, from left, are Grand Knight Tom Butler, Free Throw co-chairman John Monarca, 12-year-old girls winner Gabriella Voccio; 13-year-old boys winner Nino Uccello; 9-year-old boys winner Samuel Brooks; 10-year-old boys winner Benjamin Brooks; and Deputy Grand Knight Michael Parent. Not pictured are 10-year-old girls winner Caroline Voccio and 11-year-old boys winner Guy Cantone. Winners move on to the district tournament and then may advance to the state contest.
