Gisele (Loranger) Jagoda, 76, of Middletown, beloved wife of Thaddeus Jagoda, died Thursday May 11, 2017 at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in Drummondville, Quebec, daughter of the late Merilda (Ricard) and Wilfrid Loranger. Prior to her retirement, she was a bus driver for Middletown Schools.
Gisele is survived by her husband Thaddeus, daughters, Linda Borowitz and her husband James of Middletown, Lisa Jagoda of Middletown, sisters, Doris and Ginette Loranger of Canada, four grand Borowitz children Mark, Nicholas, and Matthew and Devin Alger, a great grandson, Aidan Alger as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three siblings.
The family would like to thank the staff of Waters Edge Rehabilitation and Care Center located at 111 Church Street in Middletown for their love and care over the past three years during Gisele’s time there. Their unmatched devotion to make her feel loved and cared for was exceptional and truly inspiring. They were her second family and always will be.
Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church in Middletown. (The main entrance to the Church and parking is at 24 Hubbard St.) Burial will be at the State Veterans’ Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
