MROZOWSKI, STELLA

After a lifetime of devotion to her family and friends, Stella (Modzelewski) Mrozowski, a truly gentle and loving soul, passed away at Chestelm on Saturday at the age of 97. She was the loving wife to her late husband John Constance Mrozowski who passed away in 2001. Together they shared 61 years of marriage and raised two children. Stella leaves behind a devoted son John Anthony Mrozowski and his wife Anne, a daughter Mary Patricia Kroc and her husband Edward, two granddaughters Lisa Desroisers and Michelle Kroc, great friends Margo Viggiano, Kathy and Courtney Kennedy as well as a host of loving, wonderful and dear in laws, nieces and nephews whom she shared much joy in this life. Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt love and thanks to her caregivers at Chestelm Rehab Center. Stella’s love, devotion and smile were pure, her heart unmeasurable, and her tears honest. She will be missed with broken hearts, but the memories must comfort us till we meet again! Her Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday (May 24th) at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Middletown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown.
