Road race benefits family

HADDAM >> A Butterfly 5K Walk/Run will be held Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. at Haddam-Killingworth High School, 95 Little City Road in Higganum.

The event proceeds will help the Corbin family members as they continue a 27-year battle with cancer.

A raffle will be held along with prizes for the top runners in each age group.

A virtual run will also be offered.
