• The Amity Boys Hockey Team is hosting a 8a.m. shotgun-start fundraising tournament at Orange Hills CC. Please email timhughes@ optonline.net if you are interested in playing.

• The University of New Haven will host its 27th Annual Charger Classic Golf Tournament at Race Brook Country Club in Orange. Proceeds from the Charger Classic have benefited all of the Charger athletic facilities. The entry fee for individual golfers is $300, which includes lunch, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, dinner, team prizes and the opportunity to bid in the Charger Auction. • The 2nd Annual East Haven Boys Basketball Golf Tournament, 12:30p.m. shotgun start (4-man scramble format) at Alling Memorial Golf Course. Fee is $125per person which includes dinner, drinks & raffle to follow at The Reagle Beagle in New Haven. • The 10th annual Sal Semmonella Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament will be held at the Orange Hills Country Club at 8a.m. The scholarship fund has donated to The American Cancer Society, Amity High School Football Program, Holy Infant Church Religious Education, Keefe Family, Peck Place School, Racebrook School and much more. There will be a continental breakfast at 7a.m. with shotgun scramble format starting at 8 a.m. Included with the $125 entry fee is 18holes of golf, breakfast, a special luncheon cookout which will begin at 12:30 p.m. Awards will be announced during lunch as well as the raffle winners.
