CRT to hold free money management course

HARTFORD » Community Renewal Team is now taking applications for their free 14week Financial Literacy Institute.

This intensive course provides an in-depth and engaging way to learn about the topics that shape a family’s financial future including budgeting and savings; establishing and/or rebuilding credit; investment and retirement planning; dealing with the financial stress of underemployment and unemployment; the value of insurance, and so much more.

This course begins Sept. 5 and meets every Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m., concluding with a graduation ceremony on Dec.5.

Only 20 students are accepted into the course. Applications must be received by July 30. To apply, call 860-5604210 or email yourmoney@ crtct.org.
