STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL: St. Lawrence Church, 7 Hemlock Dr., Killingworth, will hold its annual Strawberry Festival and giant auction on Saturday, June 17 at the church, 9 a.m.3 p.m. Live auction features antiques, furniture, collectibles and household items, as well as a plant, tag and bake sale and a silent auction. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats in carriers. Hundreds of pets are lost everyday and those with ID have a much greater chance of being reunited. TOWN WIDE TAG SALE: East Hampton’s Town Wide Tag Sale Day will be held Saturday, June 17, as usual the day before Fathers Day. CIVIC GARDENS TOUR: On Saturday, June 17, join the Garden Club of Madison’s Civic Gardens Tour will be held June 17, 1-3 p.m. Start at the “Seaside Garden” at East Wharf Beach, then head up to 853 Boston Post Road to the Allis Bushnell House (Madison Historical Society). From there, move west to the Veteran’s Memorial Garden on the town green. It is then a short walk to the Deacon John Grave House at 581 Boston Post Road where the club members will have light refreshments. The free event will include members at the four locations to discuss the plantings, offer garden advise and share the history of the gardens. BLACKBIRD CONCERT: Middlesex Community College will host the third annual “Blackbird” Concert for the Stephanie Nelson Memorial Scholarship Fund on Saturday, June 24, 6 p.m. on the Pavilion deck behind Founders Hall on the Middletown campus, 100 Training Hill Road.
