CLARK, EDGAR E.
Edgar E. Clark age 92, passed away on June 27th, 2017 in Palm Coast, FL. He was born in Wethersfield, CT on May 22, 1925 to Leon Q. & Mabel Cross Clark. He attended Wethersfield High School, and at the age of 17 joined the Navy, serving in the South Pacific Arena. He married the love of his life, Patricia E. Bagshawe of West Hartford, CT. She preceeded him in death. They were blessed with five daughters; Linda L. Tedeschi of Htfd. & Wethersfield. Grandsons Joseph E. & Matthew T. Tedeschi of Wethersfield. Donna D. (Romuald) Flieger of Palm Coast, FL; Sandra S. (Gary) Zawistowski, of East Haddam, grand-daughter, Amber L. Zawistowski and (Brett Gallitto) and great granddaughter Brianna A. Gallito of Middletown; Debra D. White of South Windsor; Riva R. Clark of Marlborough. He was preceeded in death by son-in-laws; Ian White & Anthony J. Tedeschi Sr., also sisters, Doris Tomlinson and Joyce Stocksdale. He also leaves four nephews and many cousins. Edgar was a Construction Supervisor for almost 50 years with the Merritt Baldwin Construction Co. He was involved with the building of the Hartford County 4-H Camp, Advisor to the Board of Directors for the 4-H Camp, and was a Mason of Hospitality Lodge No. 128 for over 50 years. The family moved to Marlborough when he became a volunteer caretaker for the camp. There are great memories of Eastham, MA, Watch Hill RI, and the family home in Charleston, RI. He was truly an exceptional outCalling doors man. hours will be held at the Solomon Wells House, 220 Hartford Ave. Wethersfield, Ct. 5:30 to 8:30 on Wed. July 19, 2017. Burial will be private.
