State of the City luncheon July 27

MILFORD » The Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a luncheon featuring The City of Milford’s 2017 State of the City Address at noon July 27 at the Milford Yacht Club.

The event will be sponsored by Metrostar Properties LLC, and the theme will be “Milford: Sailing Forward in the 21st Century.”

Mayor Benjamin G. Blake will give an address on the state of the city for 2017, and also will announce the Mayor’s Distinguished Citizen Award.

In addition, the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce Trust will debut a new logo and the City of Milford will unveil a new video.

“Gold” sponsors include the City of Milford, Subway World HQ and Berchem Moses, P.C., as well as “Silver” sponsors Connecticut Post Mall, Westcott & Mapes and the Stifle Cancer Foundation, according to a release.
