MONDAY

• The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce will host its 24th Annual Scholarship Golf Classic at New Haven Country Club. The cost for a foursome is $1,100 or $275 per golfer and includes a round of golf, free golf shoes, a gift bag, lunch, reception, and a buffet dinner. Donations to the scholarship fund can be made at GNHCC.com. • The West Haven Football Alumni Golf outing will be held at Alling Memorial Golf Course. Registration is at 7 a.m. with an 8 a.m. shotgun start, dinner following at the West Haven Elks Club, open bar, raffle and awards. • The Rotary Club of East Haven will be hosting the ninth Pasquale “Pat” Romano Memorial at the Alling Memorial GC. Continental breakfast is at 8 a.m. and a 9 a.m. starting time. Included with the $100 entry fee are 18 holes of golf (including cart) and a steak dinner that will be offered immediately following at Anastasio’s Italian Steak House in East Haven. Nominal prizes will be awarded and a 50⁄50 raffle will be held. • The 22nd Annual Franciscan Golf Classic will be held at Tunxis Plantation Golf Club Farmington. This annuak event benefits the programs and services of the Franciscan Life Center and Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care. The day includes 18 holes of golf, lunch on the course, an outdoor dinner, and four chances to win a hole in one: $22,000 in cash, a trip for two to St. Andrews, a trip for two to Augusta National and a 2018 Hyundai Sonata.
