The Arpinos’ 50th

Joseph and Maureen Arpino of North Branford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 8, 2017. Joe’s wife is the former Maureen Heltke of West Haven. They were married at Our Lady of Victory Church in West Haven on July 8, 1967. They have four children — Joseph Arpino ll of Berlin, Tracey Arpino Galdenzi of North Branford, Craig Arpino of Wallingford, and Christine Arpino Brown of Seymour. They have six granddaughters and one grandson. They celebrated with a family dinner at Abate Restaurant in New Haven. A trip to Las Vegas is planned in the near future. Joe had worked at Sears Roebuck for 28 years and for the City of New Haven for 16 years before retiring in 2012. Maureen worked for Dattco as a school-bus driver and for the Town of Hamden in elderly services before retiring in 2007.
