Young Leaders Society to host ‘Putts for a Purpose.’
CROMWELL » The Middlesex United Way Young Leaders Society will host its 2nd Annual ‘Putts for a Purpose” Miniature Golf tournament, on Friday, August 11, at Torza’s Golf, 150 Sebethe Dr, Cromwell, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of needed school supplies to be distributed throughout elementary schools in Middlesex County, benefiting Middlesex United Way efforts of promoting school readiness within the community. Last year’s event raised more than $1,900 with many families and young professionals coming out and enjoying the event which offered food, prizes, and live music.
The $25 ticket price includes golf, dinner, and a complimentary draft beer with a cash bar also available. Both teams and individual players are welcome to sign up and register for the event.
This year’s event will feature many sponsors including GN Construction, Disaster Restoration Services, and Best Cleaners.
