CROMWELL » Cheers for Ädelbrook Wine Tasting event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at the Radisson, 100 Berlin Road, Cromwell.
This event brings hundreds of people to taste a wide variety of wine and spirits from over a dozen distributors from Liquor World in Cromwell.
Sponsorships from local businesses help us put on this great event to help the children and young adults with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders who are served through Ädelbrook.
There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available.

Tag sale donations wanted
EAST HAMPTON » Epoch Arts, 27 Skinner St., East Hampton, is accepting donations for its annual tag sale. Epoch not only provides the community with a two-weekend tag sale, but the community helps support the youth programs at Epoch from all the tag sale proceeds.
Couches, car seats, encyclopedias, TV’s, cribs, computers, mattresses and large exercise equipment are not accepted.
Epoch cannot pick up donations, but residents can drop off items in the garage anytime.

Town-wide tag sale set
MIDDLETOWN » Middletown’s sixth annual Town-Wide Tag Sale, sponsored by The Church of the Holy Trinity, will be held 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.
The cost for an at-home tag sale is still only $20, and all proceeds from the fees collected will go to help fund the restoration of the church building as well as many of Holy Trinity’s community outreach programs.

Vendors wanted for annual holiday fair
MIDDLETOWN » The Church of the Holy Trinity will hold its annual holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at 381 Main St., Middletown, with space for up to 40 vendors. The fair will be held on the first and second floors of the Parish Hall and the church, with elevator access to the second floor.
This is a great location as the Holiday on Main Street activities are all going on. Many people are out and about on Main Street during the holidays.

Woodrow Wilson Craft Fair vendors sought
MIDDLETOWN » The Woodrow Wilson Craft Fair will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Woodrow Wilson Middle School.
The fair benefits the sports programs at the middle school. The cost is $25 for a 10-foot-by10-foot space. You must bring your own table.

Painting event is fundraiser
CHESTER » Love to paint in a fun group setting?
Want to support critical Alzheimer’s research?
Join the Chester Village West independent seniors’ community to paint for this cause from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21.
With guidance from awardwinning local artist Gloria Nilsson, participants will paint a beautiful floral arrangement.
Light refreshments will be served.
Per-person donation for the event is $35; proceeds will support the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut.

MIDDLETOWN » The Middlesex County support group for chronic pain meets every third Wednesday of the month from 1 to 2 p.m. to connect with others for support, learn strategies to cope with chronic pain, how to talk to doctors, and information about LEARN complementary and alternative treatments.
