TAG SALE: Epoch Arts, 27 Skinner St., East Hampton, is holding its annual two-weekend tag sale. The sale has furniture, household goods, toys, pictures and art work and much more. BELLRINGER REGATTA: The inaugural Bellringer Regatta will be held on Lake Pocotopaug in East Hampton on Saturday, Sept. 16. Hosted by the Friends of East Hampton Rowing, the regatta will be a series of races beginning early Saturday morning and running into the afternoon. AUTHOR TALK: The Essex Library, 33 West Ave., will host Edgar and American Mystery Award-winning author David Handler, who will discuss his

latest book, The Girl With Kaleidosco­pe Eyes, published in August by William Morrow, Saturday Sept. 16 at 4 p.m. This is the ninth entry in the Hoagy and Lulu mystery series.
