Some senior citizens find it hard to perform household chores and responsibilities, but they want to stay in their home instead of placement into Assisted Living or a Retirement Home. Dyewski will explain some of the alternatives that are available. After members will enjoy refreshments and socialize. Meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome. SENIOR DINNER: Deep River-Chester Lions Annual Senior Dinner will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, 6 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish Center, Middlesex Avenue, Chester. The Lions will provide a full course turkey dinner, dessert, coffee, free raffle prizes and live music. There is no charge for the evening as the Lions will provide the dinner and entertainment and Saint Josephs’ will donate the hall. All seniors from the Deep River, Chester area are invited to attend. CLIMATE REALITY: The Climate Reality Project with science teacher Patty Sisson will be held Jan. 20, 1 p.m. at the Essex Library, 33 West Ave., Essex.
