Operation Fuel announces donations
Operation Fuel recently received the following donations for its energy assistance programs:
HCC Global Financial Products has donated $10,000. HCC Global, of Farmington, is a specialty insurance company. The Gryphon Fund, of West Simsbury, has donated $10,000 for energy assistance in Hartford County. The Connecticut Health Foundation, of Hartford, has donated $5,000. The William and Alice Mortensen Foundation, of West Hartford, has donated $5,000 for residents of Greater Hartford. The United Bank Foundation, which is based in Hartford, has awarded a grant of $2,000. The McPhee Foundation Inc., of Bristol, has donated $2,000 for Bristol households. The Bruyette Family Foundation has donated $2,000. The Franklin Conklin Foundation has awarded a grant of $2,000. The Fuller Family Foundation has donated $2,000. The Hartford’s Windsor Grant Committee has awarded grants of $1,500 and $1,000. The American Eagle Financial Credit Union has awarded a grant of $1,000 for households in Hartford, Middlesex and Tolland Counties. The Sandra and Arnold Chase Family Foundation Inc., which is based in Hartford, has donated $1,000.
Operation Fuel is a statewide nonprofit organization that provides emergency energy assistance year-round to lower-income working families and individuals, the elderly, and disabled individuals who are in financial crisis.
