Saturday, Feb. 17 EVERYPROM BENEFIT:

An EveryProm to benefit Make A Wish Foundation will be held Saturday, 5-8 p.m. at Third Congregati­onal Church at 94 Miner Street, Middletown. FREE FLU CLINIC:

The CT River Area Health District (CRAHD) is offering a free flu clinic to area residents including Killingwor­th, Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Clinton Town Hall (Green Room), 54 East Main Street, Clinton. Shots are free with or without insurance. If you have insurance, bring your card. Children under 18 must be with a parent or guardian. Remember to wear a short sleeve shirt. LIBRARY BOOK SALE:

Killingwor­th Library Book Sale will be held Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the library.This month the sale includes large collection of books on World War I, nautical and fishing topics, hunting dogs and John F. Kennedy. As always, there are plenty of novels to choose from across all genres for all ages. A bake sale will also be held. Proceeds from both sales benefit the library and its patrons.
