Makes use of marketing tools
Eileen Walsh Smith has steadily risen through the ranks of her brokerage, first beginning with an administrative position before being recruited into the firm’s relocation division. From that point, Smith decided to enter into a sales position and obtained her Realtor’s license in 2006.
“The jobs I had at Pearce before my current sales role gave me a great preparation to listening to clients and servicing their needs,” Smith said.
Through the years, Smith has continued to grow her business, the majority of which has come as a result of referrals from past clients and friends. Smith has also earned the personal recommendation of a growing number of local attorneys, who have referred Smith’s services to their own clients.
“I find that to be so special,” Smith said. “With all the real estate agents out there, I hear from many attorneys who respect my work ethic and they in turn share my contact info with their clients.”
Smith also credits her brokerage for its role in her growth and overall success as a real estate professional.
She explained that Pearce has an extensive continuing education program, which she takes full advantage of.
“Pearce also offers the latest in marketing tools and online resources, as well as in-house expertise available to me wherever I need it,” she said.
Although Smith is knowledgeable in New Haven County as a whole, she is particularly familiar with Hamden and North Haven.
Additionally, the Spring Glen section of Hamden is especially “near and dear” to her heart.
“My mother grew up in Spring Glen, and my grandfather built many homes there,” she said. “I grew up listening to her stories about the trolleys, the shops and life in the area as it developed.”
The real estate profession has proven to be a perfect fit for Smith, as it allows her to “help people achieve their dreams,” she said.
She also thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to “listen, communicate and go above and beyond” to make the experience pleasurable for her clients.
