Presentati­on for China trip

A presentati­on will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 12 at the ACES ECA Arts Hall, 55 Audubon St. in New Haven, about an an exclusive transnatio­nal arts and culture tour to China scheduled May 14-27, 2019.

Cost of the trip is $4,550 per person, double occupancy. Trip is all inclusive and includes stops in Suzhou, Chengdu, Xian, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong, with an optional extended stay in Hong Kong through May 29.

Head to Mohegan

Holar Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia, is offering a trip to Mohegan Sun Casino March 12.

Tickets are $30 per person and include a $30 give-back for gambling and dining.

1 April 5: “Sister Act” at the Westcheste­r Broadway Theatre, $89 per person, waiting list.

1 July 17: “Celebrate Italia” at Aqua Turf Club. Cost is $65 per person; show features popular Italian singer Dominic DePasquale and New England’s top musicians. Head to the Boardwalk

Diamond Tours Inc. and Horizons Travelers are offering a bus trip to Atlantic City April 22-23.

The East Haven Senior Center and Pearls of Pauline are co-sponsoring several trips to Foxwoods Resort Casino, set for March 7, April 11 and May 9.

Cost is $25 per person and includes round-trip motorcoach transporta­tion, casino package ($10 slot play and food voucher for free buffet or $10 in any food vendor), and driver’s tip. Bingo on your own.

Visit Iceland in Nov.

The Jack and Friends Group is offering a trip to Iceland in November.

Highlights of the trip include the city of Reykjavik, the incredible Golden Circle, the geothermal fields of Geysir and Strokkur, evening cruises to observe the “Aurora Borealis (the northern lights), relaxing in the warm waters of a geothermal pool in the Blue Lagoon and the stunning Golden Falls and its double cascading waterfall.
