Debbie Goldberg has been proudly following in her mother’s footsteps ever since she made the life changing decision to enter the real estate profession in 1985.

“My mother was a Realtor, and I decided after seeing how much she enjoyed the business that I would give it a try, and I’ve never looked back,” Goldberg said.

Prior to entering the real estate industry and shortly after graduating from college, Goldberg worked for Pottery Barn in their Los Angeles-based buying office. The eventual decision to transition to her mother’s profession ended up being the perfect career choice for Goldberg.

“I saw that my mother was her own boss and in control of her day and thought that was a better fit for me,” Goldberg said. “It also really suited my personality, as I love being around people and getting to know them.”

Throughout her career, Goldberg has worked for several brokers and through that experience has “learned from some of the best” in the industry. However, her current home at Coldwell Banker has proven to be a solid match for her personal goals.

“Coldwell Banker has more resources than I have time in the day to use, so I try to utilize as many tools as I can squeeze into my schedule,” Goldberg said. “They are constantly raising the bar on support for their agents.”

Goldberg also prides herself on her dedication to staying current in an evolving industry. She regularly utilizes all forms of social media, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, in order to maximize exposure of her listings. She strongly believes in using only professional-quality photography and has recently begun the practice of incorporating video into the majority of her listings.

Additionally, she maintains a blog, www.DebbieGoldbergRealtor.com, to market her services and provide useful information to as many people as possible.

“I am constantly on the lookout for anything and everything that ups my game,” she said. “I am always finding new ways to improve what I do. You really can teach an old dog new tricks.”
