Hofstra University

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Hofstra University congratula­tes local students named to the fall 2017 dean’s list for their outstandin­g academic achievemen­t. Each must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the list.

They are: Brandi Andrade, of Westbrook; Weston Balskus, of Portland; Jonathan Butterwort­h, of Westbrook; Kimberly Chambers, of Middletown; Tiana Chrans, of Clinton; Kristen Dansereau, of Cromwell; Sarah Dowd, of Old Saybrook; Brendan Elrick, of Clinton; Stephanie Giardina, of Middletown; Hannah Gifford, of Killingwor­th; Kailee Goodine, of East Haddam; Isabelle Sasso, of Killingwor­th; and Briana Vertucci of Killingwor­th.

University of Oklahoma

NORMAN, Ok.— Students listed on the University of Oklahoma Norman campus honor roll for the fall 2017 semester include East Hampton resident Andrew James Morse, who also made the president’s honor roll.

Students in the College of Architectu­re are recognized with a 3.3 or better, and students in the College of Engineerin­g are recognized with a 3.0 or better. Those who earned a 4.0 (A) gradepoint average are named president honor roll designates.

University of Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at the University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 or above, or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all As). Local students include: Katherine Grosso, of Middletown, dean’s list; and Kiley Lord, of Portland, president’s list.

Norwich University

NORTHFIELD, Vt.— The following students have been recognized on the dean’s list at Norwich University for the fall 2017 semester:

Michael Christophe­r Lavallee, Chester; Claire Elizabeth Lavarreda, East Haddam; Evan Alan Salisbury, East Hampton; Kierstin Schafrick, Portland.

Recipients are full-time undergradu­ate students who earned a semester grade-point average of at least 3.0.
