KEEP AN EYE ON

Stepping up: Some of their teammates might generate more headlines but since the NCAA Tournament has started, it would be hard to find players delivering more than UConn junior forward Napheesa Collier and Duke sophomore forward Leaonna Odom. Collier is averaging 24 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 3 steals and 1.5 blocks, while Odom is contributing 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, more than doubling her scoring average from the regular season.

On the rebound: If there’s one pressing issue for Duke, it could be in the offensive rebounding department, as the Blue Devils have given up 34 offensive rebounds, including 21 in a second-round win over Georgia. That could be an issue against a UConn team featuring players like Azurá Stevens, who needs nine offensive rebounds to become the 10th player in program history with 100 in a season. Gabby Williams and Napheesa Collier each had more than 100 offensive boards last season and have combined for 364 in their career.
