Exceptional customer service

After she unexpectedly stumbled upon the real estate business 15 years ago, Anna Buono decided to leave the comfort of her previous career to pursue her true passion, and hasn’t looked back since.

“I earned my license to gain knowledge of the industry because I began helping my parents manage their income properties,” she explained. “I fell in love with the business and resigned from the position I held at Yale University to pursue real estate full time.”

Buono explained that her role as a Realtor is a perfect fit for her personality, as she thrives in an environment that allows her to constantly interact with others.

“Past clients would say I am very patient and sincere in my desire to help them navigate through the buying and selling process,” she said. “I love what I do and I am doing it all the time, as I respond to calls, emails and texts very quickly.”

In addition to exceptional customer service skills, Buono also possesses an extensive background in the construction industry. Her project management experience serves to complement the guidance she provides to her customers.

During the course of her past career, Buono developed many of the attributes that enable her to build trusting relationships with her clients.

“I never push anyone to make a decision they’re not comfortable with,” she said. “When it becomes about helping people and not about making money is when an agent truly is successful, and I feel I stand apart because of that factor.”

Buono strongly believes there is always room to grow, and makes a constant effort to pursue learning opportunities in order to keep abreast of new strategies and trends.

“The industry changes constantly and a good agent should be taking multiple classes on different topics throughout the year,” she said.

Buono is currently an education coordinator with the Connecticut Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists. CRS agents must meet stringent requirements; and only 3 percent of Realtors hold the designation, she said.

“We work to ensure success for our clients by tapping into our superior training, professional referral network and cuttingedge industry resources,” she said.
