CROMWELL — Attorney Nancy S. Hunter announces the relocation and opening of Hunter Law LLC, a general practice law firm, located at 332B Main Street, Cromwell. Hunter advises individuals, families, businesses and organizations on legal matters in relation to Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, Real Estate and Wills/ Estate Planning.

Hunter Law LLC relocated from Durham and officially opened for business in Cromwell on Jan. 2. Hunter, a native of Cromwell, said, “I am happy to be back in Cromwell with the ability to work with many people that I have known for most of my lifetime. I have been an attorney for almost 15 years, and appreciate the importance of a personal approach to working with clients with their legal matters. Owning my law practice enables me to take the necessary time to provide quality service. I look forward serving the local community in the greater Cromwell area.”

Hunter was born and raised in Cromwell, graduating from Cromwell High School in 1992. She later attended Central Connecticut State University where she graduated with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice, and was accepted into the Roger Williams School of Law, located in Bristol, R.I. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 2002 and thereafter passed the bar exam. During her first 11 years of practice she worked in law firms based in New Haven, Hamden, New Britain and New London where she primarily focused on Personal Injury matters. After gaining valuable experience working for other law firms, Hunter made the decision to establish her own firm in 2015, Hunter Law LLC, where she also expanded her legal services prior to moving her business to Cromwell.

Hunter is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Middlesex Bar Association, the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce and serves as a Court appointed Committee for Foreclosure Auctions by Sale for Middlesex County. In addition to being admitted to practice in Connecticut, she is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, 2nd Circuit; and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court.
