Life coach turned Realtor helps clients make crucial choices
Much like many of her peers in the real estate profession, Roberta Rossi acquired a wealth of relevant professional experience in other fields before transitioning into her current career as a Realtor.
“I have worked for 30-plus years in business and education related professions,” Rossi said. “My past experiences have allowed me a real appreciation for differing personalities and thought processes.”
Rossi feels that the opportunity to work in real estate has been a natural extension of her prior careers as a psychology instructor, life coach and integrative healing professional. Throughout her tenure as a sales agent, she has often drawn from her past experiences in order to service buyers and sellers.
“I’ve spent the better part of 20 years sharing strategies to help people make choices for healthier, happier lives,” she said. “I’m used to listening, troubleshooting and connecting people with the right resources.”
Rossi is also a firm believer in “The Golden Rule,” which has always been a guiding principle in her career. Her previous experiences have also cultivated an appreciation for honest communication and active listening.
“My distinctive attributes that lead to success are professionalism, responsiveness and genuinely caring about my clients, colleagues and interactions,” she said.
While Rossi has a proven ability to communicate well with her customers, she also has a deep love of animals. As a result, she has incorporated that passion into servicing clients that may encounter difficulties in finding the perfect place to buy or rent.
“I have had a variety of rescue pets throughout my life, so I’m aware of the challenges that pet owners face when they’re looking for a place to live,” she said.
Once Rossi decided to take the plunge and officially switch her career track, the choice to work for and represent “an industry leader like Coldwell Banker” was an easy decision.
“The company has a number of sophisticated tools and training opportunities that harness the power of technology to help us guide and support our clients,” she commented. “Helping clients make the right connections to information, resources and dreams is priceless.”
