AARP, Masters’ Games seminar
NEW BRITAIN — AARP Connecticut and the Connecticut Masters’ Games are providing a free seminar helping to teach people age 50+ how to protect themselves and their families against Consumer Fraud. AARP CT Fraud Watch Network team members Rich and Pat Bright will walk you through tools and tips along with showing actual footage of scammers. Issue expert, Inspector Lauren Vumbaco from the USPIS will be offering a look at what law enforcement sees as they fight the criminals right here in Connecticut. The seminar will be held Saturday, May 19 at 10 a.m.
Anyone at any age is at risk of being defrauded by these criminals. Scammers stole tens of billions of dollars last year from older Americans and the programs that serve them. The tips and tools provided by the Rich and Pat Bright, along with insight from Lauren Vumbaco will help you protect yourself against these scammers. Come prepared to meet new people and share your experiences.

The Connecticut Masters’ Games events are recognized by the United States Olympic Committee and the National Senior Games Association as the official senior games of Connecticut.
