Anneliese Wilhelmine (Schaefer) Weymouth, 92, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 in Leesburg, VA.

She was born in Munich, Germany, on October 26, 1925. She met her husband, Corporal John F. Weymouth in Munich and came to the United States in 1948 as a War Bride.

She resided in the towns of Bridgton and Norway, Maine before moving to Connecticu­t in 1951. She and John bought their first house in Middletown, Connecticu­t where they raised their family and lived for 39 years. They moved to Fayettevil­le, NC where she resided until September 2017 when she moved to Herndon, Virginia.

Anneliese liked spending time in her cottage in Stoneham, ME and summers at White Lake in NC. She enjoyed cruises with her friends and trips to the Beach. Anneliese retired in 1986 from United Technologi­es in Connecticu­t where she worked for 21 years as an executive secretary.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years. Survived by son Roy A. Weymouth, daughters Susan E. Weymouth and Jacqueline J. Weymouth-Moser, five grandchild­ren and three great grandchild­ren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, at 11:00 a.m., at Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 1201 Hope Mills Road, Fayettevil­le, NC. A graveside service at the family plot in Forest Hill Cemetery on Kansas Road in Bridgton, ME will be held Saturday August 18, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributi­ons may be made to Christus Victor Lutheran Church building fund.
