SHAD MUSEUM: The Haddam Shad Museum will be open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until June 11. The museum displays the history of shad on the Connecticut River since Colonial days. This event is held across from the town green immediately following the Memorial Day parade. A cup of chowder is $3; a quart will be sold for $8.
