BURLINGTON, Vermont —The following students were named to the Champlain College dean’s list for achieving a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher in the spring 2018 semester: Jacob Burt of Rockfall and Kenneth Pho and Kevin Rode, both of Portland.

Christophe­r Lynch of Middletown was named to the president’s list for the spring 2018 semester. Students so designated have achieved a semester GPA of 4.0 or higher. Anya Delventhal of East Haddam was named to the trustee’s list for the spring 2018 semester. Such students achieve a 4.0 GPA for two or more consecutiv­e semesters.

Assumption College

WORCESTER, Mass. — The following area students were named to the Assumption College dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester: Kyle Bermani of Portland, Class of 2020; Sarah Colston of Old Saybrook, Class of 2019; MaryHope Gardner of Deep River, Class of 2019; Daniella Pitruzzell­o of Cromwell, Class of 2019; and Liam Young of Middletown, Class of 2021

To earn a spot on the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 for a fiveclass, 15-credit semester. Honorees are announced twice per academic year, once at the completion of the fall semester and again at the end of the spring semester.

MILTON, Mass. — The following Curry College were among those named to the dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester: Paulina Adams of Chester, Miranda Demelis of Higganum, Micheala Efinger of Old Saybrook, Jennie Eurbin of East Hampton and Philip Ledwith of Old Saybrook.

University of Vermont

BURLINGTON, Vermont — The following local students have been named to the University of Vermont dean’s list: Connor Agro of Haddam, Dakota Dione of Deep River, Leianna Dolce of Haddam, Alice Ochterski of Middlefiel­d, Dharma Perron of Haddam Neck, Kelsey Sparrow of Old Saybrook and Joy Vincenzo of Portland.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their college or school.

University of Scranton

SCRANTON, Pennsylvan­ia — Kevin Thomas Banach of Middletown was among nearly 600 master’s and doctoral degree recipients to graduate May 26. Banach earned a master of health administra­tion degree in health administra­tion.

Also, Leandra A. Hylton of Rockfall earned a bachelor of science degree in occupation­al therapy.

William & Mary

WILLIAMSBU­RG, Virginia — Kate Taylor from East Hampton was recently added to the dean’s list at William & Mary for the spring 2018 semester. To achieve the status, a fulltime undergradu­ate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 quality-point average during the semester.

Emmanuel College

BOSTON — Emmanuel College named more than 600 students to the dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester. To earn a spot, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester. Locals include Lauren Badin of Rockfall, Natalie Dash of East Hampton, Airieanna Lane of Portland and Nathaniel Spencer of Middletown.

Nazareth College

ROCHESTER, New York — Area Nazareth College students named to the spring 2018 dean’s list are Chiara Giampietro of Old Saybrook, who is majoring in musical theater, and Sierra Taylor of East Hampton, who is majoring in music education, music performanc­e.

NEWTON, Mass. — Lasell College held its 164th commenceme­nt on May 12, granting 398 Baccalaure­ate degrees and 125 Master’s degrees, before an audience packed with family, friends, and members of the Lasell community on Taylor Field.
