VOLUNTEER ORIENTATIO­N: Teen Volunteer Orientatio­n will be held on Tuesdays, June 5 and June 12 from 5-7 p.m. or Saturday, June 9, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Activity Room, Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, Middletown. Connecticu­t's 16th State Troubadour, Kate Callahan, gives a concert of compelling original music plus songs by Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. For this concert, she will be joined by a quartet of musicians. She is one of the most awarded songwriter­s in her home state, most recently named the 2017 Best SingerSong­writer by the CT Now Hartford poll.
