SATURDAY HIKE: On Saturday, June 9 at 10AM, Beth Lapin will lead a hike atMcCutche­on Park Area in associatio­n with Middletown's Recreation Division on Saturday at 10 a.m. The hike will cover forest, rock overhangs, and meadow areas in the woods west of the lake and include a discussion of native uses of the area, concluding about 11:30 a.m. Wear hiking shoes, bring a snack and water, camera, binoculars if desired. SHAD MUSEUM: The Haddam Shad Museum will be open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until June 10. The museum displays the history of shad on the Connecticu­t River since Colonial days. TENT REVIVAL: The Fishermen Ministry will hold a weeklong Christian Tent Revival at Markham Meadows Campground, Markham Roadd in East Hampton, beginning Monday, June 11 and running through Saturday, June 16.
