Neil Scarfo may be a new addition to the sales team at Press/Cuozzo Realtors, but he certainly did not come to the table empty handed.
Throughout his 40 years in the real estate industry, Scarfo has acquired a wealth of diverse experience; including transactions involving new construction as well as both residential and commercial sales and leasing.
Scarfo explained that his attention to detail in organizing and coordinating transactions has served to help his past customers immensely. He also has the keen ability to thoughtfully analyze each client’s unique situation, which allows him to be prepared when the unexpected occurs.
“My ability to make clients feel comfortable throughout the transaction and walk them through each step of one of the most important decisions they are making is the core of my business,” he commented.
Scarfo has been actively involved in the real estate industry for many years. He previously served as treasurer of the Greater Middletown Board of Realtors and is a member of the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors and the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors.
Additionally, Scarfo has been elected to the National Brokers Communications Congress for eight years, and has served on numerous Realtor association committees throughout the state.
Scarfo is a cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac University. He has been a notary public for 30 years and has also held a Connecticut insurance license for 30 years.
A Connecticut native, Scarfo currently resides in Branford. In his spare time, he is a tennis player and a professional tennis umpire. He enjoys Italian cooking and is an avid Yankee fan.
Scarfo said that the opportunity to cultivate long lasting business relationships has been the highlight of his career.
“The greatest satisfaction I receive is that when the transaction is completed, I have also created a new friendship,” he remarked.
Scarfo chose to join Press/Cuozzo due to their reputation as an “innovative and aggressive force” in successfully marketing all types of properties. The brokerage is based in Hamden and has been serving the greater New Haven area since 1990.
