Students earn distinction
WORCESTER, Mass. — Several local students were named to Becker College’s dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester. It recognizes all full-time students whose term GPA is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a Band no incompletes or withdrawal/failing grades.
Alyson Zawisza of Moodus is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in veterinary science, with a preveterinary concentration.
KINGSTON, R.I. — The University of Rhode Island announces students who made the spring 2018 dean’s list. Full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

WILLIMANTIC — At the conclusion of the 2017-18 academic year, 18 graduating seniors from Eastern Connecticut State University were recognized at the honors program reception, including Lindsay Pattavina ‘18 of Moodus, who majors in elementary education and English. Pattavina’s thesis is titled “Juvenilism: A New Theoretical Perspective on the Origins and Mechanics of Contemporary Literary Portrayals of Children.”
