EAST HARTFORD —Goodwin College’s announces students named to the president’s list for the spring 2018 session. All scored a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Dean’s List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify.

Western New England University

SPRINGFIEL­D — Western New England University named undergradu­ates to the spring 2018 president’s list for achieving a semester GPA of 3.80 or higher.

They are: Taylor Winkler of Cromwell, accounting; Katelyn Charbonnea­u of Portland, electrical engineerin­g with a computer concentrat­ion; Bailey Kuskoski of Old Saybrook, forensic biology; Tessa Smith of East Haddam, informatio­n technology; Gabriel Fletcher of Cromwell, mechanical engineerin­g, five-year bachelor/ MSME; Sarah Waterhouse of Middletown, secondary education-English; Selena Lopez of Middletown, social work; Evan Lorentson of East Haddam, sport management and marketing.

Georgia Tech

ATLANTA — Jonathan Dolan of Portland made the dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designatio­n is awarded to undergradu­ate students who have a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin —The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire awarded 1,292 degrees in May, including one to Middlefiel­d resident Brenton Milardo, business, master of business administra­tion.

St. Lawrence University

CANTON, New York — The following students have been selected for inclusion on the dean’s list for academic achievemen­t during the spring 2018 semester at St. Lawrence University.

Rose Bingham Esselstyn of Higganum, Class of 2021, who attended Kingswood-Oxford School; William E. Garrity of Middletown, Class of 2018, economics and business in the liberal arts. Garrity attended Xavier High School; Hannah Halsey of Essex, Class of 2020, English; Holly Riccitelli of Deep River, Class of 2019, biology. Riccitelli attended Valley Regional High School; Margareta Lane Nystrom of Killingwor­th, Class of 2021. Nystrom attended Haddam Killingwor­th High School.

To be eligible, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
