NORM WAY BASEBALL GAME: The Greater Middletown Military Museum is hosting the 11th Annual Norm Way Memorial Baseball Game Saturday, July 7, at 10 a.m., in Palmer Field, 59 Bernie O’Rourke Dr. The game between the Middletown American Legion post and the Cheshire American Legion post will be played in the Bill Pomfert Stadium. Pre-game ceremonies will be held at 9:45 a.m., but volunteers are needed for set up tasks beginning at 9 a.m. Anyone who can assist is asked to call 860-3465100 and leave a message. HEALTHLINE: Dr. Eric Thomas is the guest on the next edition of the health informatio­n radio program — Healthline. FINDING WALDO: It is time for Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore’s Where's Waldo-Middletown Scavenger Hunt, a community-wide activity in which kids, parents, and Waldo-lovers of all ages are invited to participat­e. On July 1 Waldo-spotters will set off on a hunt to find the elusive guy hidden in a number of establishm­ents in Middletown. Waldo spotters will be eligible for prizes, culminatin­g on July 27 with a grand celebratio­n held at Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore at 4 p.m.
