Epoch Arts receives foundation grant
EAST HAMPTON — Epoch Arts has received a grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County to support Speak Out Productions. This $3,200 grant was awarded by the focus area of Arts and Boys and Young Men, according to a press release.
Speak Out Productions consists of three of Epoch Arts cornerstone programs - Mini Production, Arts Response and Main Stage Production. “These programs offer outlets for teens to voice their opinions, express feelings and work through issues that directly impact them every day. As students work together, they find positive solutions and become change agents to their peers and community. The productions are all original with original music, set and costumes and are open to students 7th grade and up. Epoch Arts is so thankful for the long standing support of the Community Foundation of Middlesex County and for being such a positive and encouraging organization for Epoch and our community,” said Elizabeth Namen of Epoch Arts.
The Community Foundation of Middlesex County is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for the people of the County, now and in the future, by developing endowments, making grants that have impact and assisting donors in meeting their philanthropic objectives.
