KORN SCHOOL COMMITTEE: Durham’s Korn School Adaptive Reuse Feasibilit­y Committee has been meeting to determine the feasibilit­y and cost of renovation­s to use the form elementary building as a community center. The committee has set two meetings for public input and presentati­ons. Both meetings will be held at Korn School and begin at 6:30 with time to tour the building, with workshop and presentati­on. Meetings are July 31, preceded by a tour at 6:30 p.m.; and Sept. 6, with a tour at 6:30 and the meeting at 7 p.m. All are encouraged to attend.

MIDDLETOWN BOOKMOBILE: The Middletown Bookmobile will be near the Russell Library’s Broad Street entrance, 1-2 p.m. on Wednesdays, July 11, 18, 25 and Aug. 1. Children of all ages are welcome to choose free books they can take home to keep. In case of rain, a selection of free books will be available in the Activity Room. SPOON MAN: The one and only Spoon Man will visit the Deep River Public Library on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 5:30 p.m. The Spoon Man has traveled the globe playing spoons for over 23 years, even appearing on America’s Got Talent.
